Francis Raymond "Frank" Rutkowski, age 89

Francis Raymond "Frank" Rutkowski, age 89 of Spindale, NC died Thursday, August 4, 2022.

Frank as he was known was born August 9, 1932, in Amsterdam, NY and was a son of the late Frank and Eudora Coussans Rutkowski.

Frank was of the Catholic faith, and he served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict as well as serving in the Navy Reserve. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal and National Defense Medal.

Frank was a salesman having worked in both Manufactured Housing and Automobile sales. He was also a talented mechanic.

He is survived by his companion of 22 years, Sidna Sampson, son Frank S. Rutkowski and wife Susan, daughter, Cynthia Paeon and husband Thomas, brother David Rutkowski and wife Kathy, five grandchildren and Sidna's four children.

The funeral service was held August 9 in the Padgett and King Chapel with Chaplain Denise Brill officiating. Military Honors were accorded on the chapel lawn following the service.
