Fred Lonnie Callahan, Jr, age 79 of Forest City, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020.
Fred was born on November 16, 1940 in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Fred Lonnie Callahan, Sr, and Myrtle Leigh Harrill Callahan.
Survivors include his son, Fred L. Callahan, III and his wife Wendy of Morganton, as well as two grandchildren.
The family is planning a memorial service to be announced at a later date. Interment was private in the Cool Springs Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
The Padgett & King Mortuary is serving the family.
