Chimney Rock's 66th annual nondenominational Easter sunrise service will be held on Easter Sunday, April 17. This year, Pastor Nathan Sundt from Bat Cave Baptist Church will preside.

For the past two years, the service has been held virtually over Facebook and YouTube due to the effects of COVID-19 on the region. This year, Park staff is returning to an in-person event. For capacity reasons, the service will be ticketed, with complimentary parking passes available for attendees who register ahead of time on the website. Space will be reserved in the top parking lot for media who RSVP.

The Park gates will be open from 5:15am to 6am and the service will begin at 6:30am. The sunrise is expected to be just before 7am. Following the service, breakfast will be served at the Old Rock Cafe.

The service will be streamed live to the Facebook page and will be available to view on our YouTube channel later that day. More information about the Easter event can be found at chimneyrockpark.com
