Free soup on a cold evening

Volunteers at the Spindale United Methodist Church complete preparations for last week's soup supper served from the church. Volunteers prepared 120 pieces of cornbread, vegetable, chicken, potato and broccoli/cheese soups for the public. The church serves the free meal to the public the third Wednesday of each month beginning at 5 p.m. Volunteers encourage anyone who would like a free meal to come by on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m.
