Frieda Moore, age 87, of Forest City

Frieda Moore, age 87, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Frieda was born October 10, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late Jesse Moore and Gertrue Price Moore. She was a graduate of Tri-High School, and worked as a secretary/receptionist for Stonecutter Mill and General Fireproofing for many years. She was a member of Spencer Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Haley Hardin.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Tamara Robbins (John) of Spindale and Jesse Craig Buckner (Teresa) of Mooresboro; special friend, Garland Hamrick of Forest City; grandchildren, Jessica Deyton (Shaun) and Thomas Buckner; four great grandchildren.

A private time of remembrance for the family was held at Harrelson Funeral Home.
