Gaynell Owens Bailey, age 85

Gaynell Owens Bailey, age 85 of Forest City, passed away October 15, 2020.

She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter to the late Gaines Webster and Carrie Vell Owens.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Bailey, one brother Gerald Dowdle and a son in law Gary Wayne Collins. She is survived by two daughters; Teresa Bailey Collins and Debbie Bailey Brewer (Rick). Four brothers; Joe Owens, Wade McCraw, Bill Dowdle and Donnie Dowdle and two sisters Lila Mae McCraw and Vivian Lowman. Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Sandy Mush, NC. Interment was held at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
