Geneva Louise Whisnant McNeilly, 89

Geneva Louise Whisnant McNeilly, 89, of Ellenboro, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021.

Born in Cleveland County, on October 21, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Dwight Elwood Whisnant and Hannie Ola Blanton Whisnant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wayne McNeilly; two sons, Danny Wayne McNeilly and Dwight Steven McNeilly; one grandchild; three brothers, Howard Hopper, Gene Hopper and J.R. Hopper and one sister, Frances Webber.

Survivors include three daughters, Rheba Kaye Ward of Forest City, Carolyn Earley of Ellenboro and Lynda Hoyle of Ellenboro; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Big Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.
