George Edwin Biddix, Jr., and Reva Mink Biddix passed away August 14 & 15, 2022

George Edwin Biddix, Jr., and Reva Mink Biddix of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away August 14 and August 15, 2022 respectively.

A Celebration of Life was held October 7 at First Presbyterian Church Rutherfordton.

Reva was born April 14, 1931 in Bell County, Kentucky. She was one of 12 children born to Lutisha Wilder Mink and Thomas Harrison Mink. Reva graduated from Berea College. She was an elementary teacher until retirement.

Ed was born May 7, 1934 to Pansy Hennessee Biddix and George Edwin Biddix, Sr. Ed graduated from Berea College and later earned a Master's Degree from NC State University. He worked with the Agricultural Extension Service in Northampton, Vance, Caldwell, Buncombe and Rutherford counties until retirement.

Ed and Reva were married for 66 years. They were inseparable for the last few years of their lives, taking care of each other and spending a lot of time holding hands.

Ed and Reva were members of First Presbyterian Church for 54 years.

Ed and Reva are survived by daughters Lisa Biddix Royal (Steve) and Linda Biddix Stephenson (Henry); five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
