George Edwin Harris Jr., 80

George Edwin Harris Jr., 80, of Forest City passed Thursday, December 29, 2022.

He was a member of All Souls Community. He was a graduate of NC State University and Cleveland Technical Community College.

He was the son of George Edwin Harris Sr. and Elizabeth Barber Harris.

He was also preceded in death by brothers Johnny Harris, Chris Harris and sister Alice Elizabeth Harris.

He is survived by one brother Tan Harris and wife Audrey and other family members.

The Memorial Service was held at The Padgett and King Chapel on January 7.

Memorials may be made to All Souls Community, 212 Forest St., Forest City or the Democratic Party of Rutherford County.
