Glenn Hardin, 89, of Ellenboro

Glenn Hardin, 89, of Ellenboro, died Thursday, October 29, 2026.

He was the son of the late Garland and Gladys Hardin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Gavin Huskey; his sisters, Hazel May, Margaret Weaver, and Mildren Givens; and his brother, Charles Hardin.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Delores "Dee" Hardin; his sons, Glenn Hardin, Jr. and wife Diane of Lincolnton, and Brian Hardin and wife Paige, of Ellenboro; his daughters, Susie Young and husband Larry of Bostic, and Connie Hardin of Ellenboro; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

The family is planning a private service that will include the Rutherford County Honor Guard providing military rites to honor his time in the Air Force.
