Golf Tournament for S.T.A.R. Camp

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office is hosting the Second Annual Honorary Major Jamie Keever S.T.A.R. Camp Golf Scramble Tournament on Saturday, August 29 at Meadowbrook Golf Club.

This tournament benefits S.T.A.R. Camp, a three day summer camp held over three separate weeks each summer. S.T.A.R. Camp helps build relationships with the children and the SRO's and reinforces what lessons were learned through the S.T.A.R. Program to every 5th grade student in Rutherford County.

This event also Honors the Legacy of Major Jamie Keever, who courageously battled cancer while simultaneously working and securing the initial funding for the S.T.A.R. Program Summer Camp. Major Keever's dedication to the children and citizens of Rutherford County continues to make a lasting impact.

Every dollar raised goes directly towards supplies for the summer camp, helping provide the best experience possible for the kids in attendance.
