Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) welcomed Congressman Patrick McHenry in Rutherford County Tuesday, Oct.25, to present EMS with a check for $252,877 from the federal Assistance to Firefighters Grant. This grant will pay for nine power load systems for all stretchers on all the EMS ambulances. Supervisor Phillip Hill applied and wrote the grant and was thanked by his co-workers and the county.
