Grover Green, age 74

Grover Green, age 74, of Mooresboro, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Grover was born December 1, 1947 in Hickory Grove, SC to the late G.C. Green and Grace Brindle Green. He worked for Mastercraft and later owned and operated Green's Rugs over 40 years. Grover was a member of High Shoal Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Kevin Green and four sisters Marilyn Epley, Gail Bailey, Eunice Gay Chapman and Marsha Hope Lunsford.

Left to cherish fond memories are his wife of 46 years, Patricia "Pat" Green; children, Charles Green (Bonnie) of Mooresboro, Tracy Green of Mooresboro, Tammy Jones of Forest City and Cristopher Green of Mooresboro; brothers, Ray Green (Donna) of Forest City, Joel Green (Melinda) of Mooresboro, Jeff Green of Forest City; ten grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held August 29 at High Shoal Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Passmore officiating.
