Hans Radford, age 59,

Hans Radford, age 59, of Union Mills, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018.

He was the son of the late James Edward Radford. Hans was a native of Rutherford County. He was a member of Round Hill Baptist Church and a US Air Force veteran. He loved photography, flower gardening and loved to see it snow. He was an avid stargazer and an underwater welder for several years.

Survivors include: His mother Carol Briscoe Radford. One Son: Bryan Radford. One Sister: Mary Alla Lowman.

The funeral service was held at Round Hill Baptist Church. Rev Billy Salyers and Rev Michael Jones officiated. Interment held in the Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rutherford County Honor Guard provides military honors.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills at P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
