Hazel Chalmers Hutchins Boone, 95

Hazel Chalmers Hutchins Boone, 95, of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014. 

A native of Rutherford County, she was wife of the late Johnnie Boone, and the daughter of the late Summy and Pearl Hutchins. She was a retired textile employee and a charter member of Harmon Street Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Norman Boone and wife Jean and Arlon Boone; daughter in law, Patsy Boone; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Pastor Ronnie Boone, daughter Barbara Lepera, and brother Andrew Hutchins.

Funeral services were held at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Wayne Toney officiating. Interment followed in Pisgah United Methodist Church cemetery.
