Hazel Elizabeth Toney Earley, 84

Hazel Elizabeth Toney Earley, 84, of Forest City passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018.

She was born January 15, 1934 in Rutherford County, was a daughter of the late Oksie Tate Toney and Elbert Toney, and a 1953 graduate of Ellenboro High school. Hazel was a member of Race Path Baptist Church and was the owner of Broadway Salvage, Inc. of Forest City. Her greatest passion was her love of flowers and making beautiful bows for memorial flowers each spring. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Albert Earley and sister Frances Toney Holtzclaw.

Survivors include a daughter Glenda Earley Wall and husband Danny, three sons, Randy Earley, Mark Earley, and Keith Earley and wife, Samantha, six grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Toney Calvert and husband, Dupree Calvert, and Sister in Law Joan Earley Conner. There are also several nieces and nephews, loyal caregiver and friend Ruby Smith and her faithful dog Macy,

The funeral service was held at the Race Path Baptist Church. Rev Randall Cooper officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
