Heading to state championship games

The Rutherford County 12U Little League All Stars brought home the District One Championship in Rutherfordton and are heading to the state playoffs on July 6. The game against Pitt County is scheduled to begin at 9am. Bringing home the District One trophy, the team beat Avery County 17-0 and McDowell County twice: 18-2 and 10-0 in Sunday's final game on June 23.
