Helen Morrow Hudson, 78

Helen Morrow Hudson, 78, of Forest City, passed away October 13, 2022.

She was born in Rutherfordton and raised in Ellenboro. Helen was a graduate of Ellenboro High School and Cecil's Business College. Helen was an organist for Bethel Baptist Church in Ellenboro, but earned such a following as a talented musician, that she spent most of her time as interim organist at many county churches of all denominations.

Helen was preceded in death by parents Alfred and Pauline Morrow, step-grandson JD Hudson, and sister Vicki.

She is survived by husband Doug Hudson of Forest City, sons Eddie Gordon (Beverly) of Chesnee, Eric Gordon (Daphne) of Belmont; step-son Joey Hudson, brothers Jim Morrow (Revonda) and Bill Morrow (Cynthia) and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was held October 24 at Bethel Baptist Church in Ellenboro with Rev. Michael Sepaugh officiating.
