Helen Virginia Silvers, age 85

Helen Virginia Silvers, age 85, of Rutherfordton, passed away July 25, 2021.

Helen was born April 21, 1936 in Duchess County, New York to the late Arnie Fridstrom and Winifred Jarvis Fridstrom. She worked for Mastercraft Industries for many years and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis A. Palmeri and second husband, John Max Silvers; daughters, Sharon Gagner and Fran Pogue; sisters, Linda Miller and Loretta Tantillo.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughters, Claudia Cole (Robert) and Lori Palmeri both of the Shiloh Community; sons, Steven Silvers of Morganton and Gary Palmeri (Misty) of Shiloh; stepson, Dean Silvers (Cathy) of Sealy, Texas and a stepdaughter, Debbie Bound of Hyde Park, NY; a sister, Bonnie Lanigan of New Jersey; brothers, Arnie and David Fridstrom, 11 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Helen will be held on a later date.
