Missions in the Borros, that annually sponsors mission projects in communities across Ellenboro, Bostic, Mooresboro spent some time last week completing a few projects. Handyman work was done at the home of Violet Dossantos in Ellenboro as a construction crew built a handicapped ramp and raised her front porch for easier access outdoors. Calvary, Campfield Memorial and Concord churches were represented at the ramp project. At The Wash Pot also in Ellenboro, Lemmie Newton, Jr. spent 6 hours handing out free washing detergent, dryer sheets and paid for the cost of washing and drying one load of clothes. "I wish we could have done more," said Newton. Due to COVID-19, many of the projects could not be done this year.
