Herman Lester Bailey, age 80

Herman Lester Bailey, age 80, of Spindale, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017.

Herman was a native of Rutherford County, the son of the late William Edgar Bailey and Mammie Elizabeth Early Bailey, a retired carpenter, a US Army Veteran and member of Spencer Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory are his son Samson Lucan Rhodes, daughter in law Carol Ann Rhodes, brothers Norris and Horace Bailey, one granddaughter and special friend Maye Pruett. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Darcey Ireton Bailey.

Funeral service was held at Spencer Baptist Church. Rev. Bruce Caldwell officiated. Burial followed in Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
