The Hot Nights & Cool Rides Car Show was held Friday and Saturday, August 17 and 18 in Forest City.

The 32nd car show is one of the largest car shows in the southeast and was sponsored by the Forest City Merchants Association and the Town of Forest City.

A free cruise in and concert was held August 16 at the Forest City Pavilion on Park Square (POPS) with the Ocean Blvd Band performing.

Over 400 cars, trucks, and motorcycles were registered and 80 different car classes were recognized.

Main Street restaurants, food vendors and businesses were open all day.

New this year was the "Pit Road/Vendor Alley" where a variety of vendors, including arts and crafts, sports, school, political and church groups were set up during the car show.
