Howard Ross Champion, 98, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Baxter and Bessie Champion.
Howard was a World War II Veteran, serving in the Air Force.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Christine Hutchins; son Robert Champion and daughter in law Jackie Champion; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Howard was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Aline Champion, son, Steve Champion; daughter in law Robin Champion; brothers, Bud Champion and Hicks Champion and sister Lillian Rose.
Graveside services were held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rutherford County Honor Guard presented Military Honors.
