Irene "Maw-maw" Flynn Boone, age 79, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Maggie Flynn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
Irene is survived by: One daughter, Jane Hodnett, one son, David Hill, one sister, Wanda Greene, one brother, Reverend Paul Flynn, 4 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was held at Little White Country Church Cemetery, Rutherfordton.
