Irene Spicer Hall, age 79

Irene Spicer Hall, age 79, of Forest City, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022.

Irene was born March 27, 1943 in Rutherford County to the late Gillie Spicer and Hattie Lou Buff Spicer.

She was a dedicated homemaker and caretaker for her family. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was a member of the Foothills Choir, the Prisoners of Love quartet and the Riverside Trio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of almost 56 years, Joe Hall; brothers, Abraham, George, Bobby and John Spicer and sister, Judy Tessnear.

Left to cherish fond memories include daughter, Sheila Conner (Michael) and son, Joey Hall (Zo Ann) all of Forest City; sisters, Louise Dedmon of Forest City, Janie Fleischer (Dale) of Youngstown, Ohio and Julie Lewis (Eddie Lail) of Caroleen; brother, Ronnie Spicer (Linda) of Forest City, four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held May 27 at Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Blankenship officiating.
