The academy, which runs from June 1 through July 29, provides high school juniors and seniors age 16 and older with hands-on training, industry instruction, workplace learning opportunities, and valuable certifications. Participants also receive a $2,000 stipend and transportation support while exploring career pathways in the growing electrical trades field.

"This program gives students an opportunity to gain real-world experience, develop in-demand skills, and learn directly from industry professionals," said Dr. Scott Queen, ICC's vice president of Economic and Workforce Development. "We are excited to partner with Careers Electric to help students discover rewarding careers while building a strong workforce for our region."
