J B Holland, age 86

J B Holland, age 86, of Henrietta, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

J B was born February 4, 1936 in Rutherford County to the late Virgil Holland and Anna Lou Lovelace Holland. He worked for Cone Mills for over 40 years and most recently for Allied Security. He was a member of Goode's Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patsy Sailors Holland; son, Stephen Holland; siblings, Earl Holland, Charles Ray Holland, Lucy Rochester, Eunice Ervin and Becky Beaver.

Survivors include his sons Michael Holland of Spindale, Roger Holland of Forest City and Gregory Holland of Henrietta; siblings, Kay Brunick (Carl) of Shelby, James Holland (Renee) of Ellenboro, Joyce Lail of Boiling Springs, Jerry Holland of Shelby and six grandchildren.

The funeral service was held January 16 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robbie Hensley officiating.
