Jack Moss, age 71, of Shelby

Jack Moss, age 71, of Shelby, NC, passed away April 16, 2026.

He was a simple man, at least, that's how he would have described himself; but those who truly knew him understood he was far more. Jack was a master carpenter and a gifted wood-working artist.

Jack was a devoted father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. Above everything else, his greatest loves were his daughter and grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Michael Moss, his grandchildren, Allandria, Ethane, Elizabeth, Faith, Nevaeah, and Phoenix, his brothers Gary Moss (wife Nancy), Randy Moss (wife Judith), his sister Sandy McNeely (husband Keith), and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James (Puzie) and Judy Moss, his wife, Nita, and his sister, Marsha Davis.

A Celebration of Life service was held April 19 at Dallas Baptist Church, Dallas.
