Jack T. Ross, age 84

Jack T. Ross, age 84, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019.

Jack was born July 5, 1934 in Rutherford County to the late George Ross, Sr. and Ruth Crowder Ross. He worked for many years at Stonecutter Mill and most recently in the Lawn & Garden Department at Wal-Mart. Jack enjoyed yard work and was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Gettys, Sue Burnett and a brother, James Ross.

Those left to treasure his memory include his wife of fifty-one years, Judy Adair Ross; son, Garrett T. Ross and wife, Amber of Forest City; three sisters, Patsy Ware of Spindale, Brenda Rowe of Forest City and Lois Rabb of Bostic; two brothers, George L. Ross, Jr. and wife Diane of Forest City and Glenn Ross of Forest City. Seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren also survive him.

A funeral service was conducted at Smith Grove Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
