James Ray Heavener, age 62, of Ellenboro, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020.
James was born July 13, 1957 in Cleveland County to the late J.W. Heavener and Martha Louise Truelove Heavener.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Williams and a brother, Dickie Joe Heavener.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dorothy Heavener; sister, Debbie Lee of Shelby; stepson, Donald Henderson (Cindy) of Caroleen; brother-in-law, Harlan Williams of Lawndale and several nieces and nephews.
A private gathering to honor James was held at Harrelson Funeral Home.
Memorial donations are requested to the charity of choice.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
