James Samuel Beason age 61

James Samuel Beason age 61 of Rutherfordton, passed away on June 30, 2017.

James was the son of the late Hicks and Helen Beason. James was a retired quality control specialist for Wabco. In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by his wife Tammy Thompson Beason. James was an accomplished photographer, a UNC Tar Heel fan and a fan of the Rolling Stones.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Ashley Beason Mathieu and husband Nathan Mathieu and sister Virginia Towery.

A memorial service was held at the Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church with the Dr. Don Scofield officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church, 252 North Washington Street, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
