James Walter Edmonds, age 85 of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020.
James was born on November 22, 1934 in Greenwood, SC and was a son of the late Charlie and Omar Newton Edmonds.
James served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Dale Ann Edmonds, four children, Doyle Edmonds, Joshua Edmonds, Marilyn Horne and Betty Jo Henson. There are also seven grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private service at a later date with military honors.
