Jamie Bowen Absher, age 42

Jamie Bowen Absher, age 42, of Rutherfordton, passed away September 25, 2021.

Jamie was born December 21, 1978 in Rutherford County to the late J.V. Bowen and Francis Chapman Shehan. She was a registered medical technician. Jamie loved spending time outdoors.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Faye Dalton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé, Thomas Prevatte; sons, Kevin Absher, Jr., Terry Absher, Hunter Bowen, Dakota Prevatte and stepdaughter, Kristine Prevatte; brother, Chris Bowen of Bostic and sister, Regina Weaver of Ellenboro.

No formal services will be conducted.
