Janice Laws Dyer, age 63

Janice Laws Dyer, age 63, of Rutherfordton, passed away December 14, 2021.

Janice was born January 14, 1958 to the late Troy Laws and Laverne Padgett Laws. She was a graduate of Cornerstone Christian School and received a Certified Nursing Assistant diploma from Isothermal Community College. Janice worked for A&E Plastics and GenPak.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Brenda Hoppes and Judy Norman; brothers, Roy, Donnie and Jerry Laws and a granddaughter, Addison Laws.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 23 years, Jimmy Ray Dyer; sons, Roger Laws (Stacy) and Curley Dyer all of Rutherfordton; daughter, Peggy Cole (Brian) of Forest City; brothers, Ronnie Laws (Melissa) of Morganton and Tony Laws of Ellenboro, eleven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The funeral was conducted December 17, 2021 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
