Jay C. Sisk, age 85

Jay C. Sisk, age 85, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021.

Jay was born Sunday, April 4, 1935 in Rutherford County to the late Lee Sisk and Fannie Connor Sisk.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Sisk, Linda Walker, Edith Toney and four brothers, Junior, Carl, Harvey and Eugene Sisk.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Janice Sisk of Forest City, Lisa Pitman (Danny) of Ellenboro; two brothers, Herman Sisk (Sonya), Jerry Sisk (Barbara) and a sister, Margaret Lovelace all of Forest City. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
