Jean Frashier Hopper, age 67

Jean Frashier Hopper, age 67, of Forest City, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.

Jean was born March 19, 1952 in Rutherford County to the late Clark Frashier and Demmie Henson Frashier. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1970 and worked for the Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home for thirty years. Jean enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Marvin, Glen and James Frashier; two sisters, Mary Lou Duncan and Louise Sprouse.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of forty-eight years, Ronnie Hopper; two daughters, Pam Pogue (Craig) of Harris and Amy Miller (Chad) of Cooley Springs, SC; son, Chris Hopper of Harris; two grandchildren; six sisters, Marlene Adams of Shiloh, Wilma Epley (Don) of Harris, Margaret McCombs (Joe) of Harris, Brenda Jackson of Shiloh, Joyce Jones (Clayton) of Shiloh and Judy Epley (Scott) of Rutherfordton; two brothers, Crayton Frashier (Elaine) of Rutherfordton and Dean Frashier (Deborah) of Harris.

The funeral service was conducted at Holly Springs Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
