Jean Nix Morrow, age 85, of Forest Cit

Jean Nix Morrow, age 85, of Forest City, NC passed away May 15, 2026 to be with our Lord and Savior, and to join her family and friends that preceded her in death.

Born April 23, 1941, in Rutherford County, she was the youngest of three children born to Fred and Nora Nix. She retired from Tanner Company after 20 years. Prior to that, she worked at Crellin Plastic and the Hanes Plant. She was devoted to her family, being a caregiver to her mother and father, her two sisters before their passing, and a niece and nephew. She was a member of Bethany Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nora Nix; and two sisters, Betty Porter and Jerri Bailey.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Morrow; nephews, Marshall Turner and Marty Porter; niece, Keisha Swink; and stepchildren, Tim Morrow, Vicki Morrow and Laurel Morrow.

The funeral was held May 20 in the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lane Goff officiating.
