Jeanette Angelyn Melton 81 of Rutherfordton, passed away on June 11, 2021.
She was born the youngest of 5 children to William Perry Flynn and Ida Brackett Flynn.
She was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Bertha Lee Putnam, Leonard William Flynn and Evelyn Flynn. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George W. Melton, Sr.
Angelyn is survived by her 2 sons George W. Melton Jr. and his wife Bobbi and Perry S. Melton and his wife Betsy; one sister, Carolyn Flynn Taylor; four grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, as well as a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Adaville Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Adaville Baptist Church, 805 Oakland Road, Spindale NC 28160.
