Jeanette Carver Simpson, age 81

Jeanette Carver Simpson, age 81, of Sandy Mush, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021.

Jeanette was born Monday, May 15, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late Claude Alexander Carver and Leora Gertrude Reece Carver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Carver; sister, Christine Carver Fisher and brothers-in-law, Jerry Simpson, Herman Fisher, David White and Jerry Padgett.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of sixty-three years, Raymond "Red" Simpson; daughter, Marylisa Simpson Stamper (Timothy) and son, Marty Raymond Simpson (Tamiko) all of Sandy Mush; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five sisters-in-law, Helen White, Judy Simpson, Darlene Padgett, Ann Padgett and Margaret Carver.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
