Jeanette Hampton Taylor, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022.
She was born August 21, 1942 in Green Hill and spent most of her life in Rutherford County.
She was preceded in death by parents, Theodore and Sue Hampton and was twice widowed by her late husbands, Horace Russell and Charles Taylor Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her son David Russell, daughter-in-law Kim Russell, one granddaughter, and two great-granddaughters. She leaves behind daughter Kathy "Rusty" Williams, brother Bill Hampton, and sister Ruby Clements.
A graveside service was held August 31 at Green Hill Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Dwayne Scruggs officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
