Jerry A. "Moose" Campfield, age 79

Jerry A. "Moose" Campfield, age 79, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

Jerry was born November 2, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late L.B. Campfield and Helen Grant Campfield. He was a graduate of Tri-High School, class of 1958 and worked for Burlington Industries for many years. Jerry was a member of Harris First Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Jane Harris Campfield.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Barry Alvin Campfield (Emily) of Forest City and Jerry Brannon Campfield of Rutherfordton; brother, Joe Dean Campfield of Chesnee; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Campfield requested that no formal services be conducted.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
