Jerry Lee Akers, age 72

Jerry Lee Akers, age 72 of Mooresboro, died November 12, 2021.

Jerry was born November 23, 1948, in Terre Haute, Indiana and was a son of the late Ernest LeRoy Akers and Anna Lorraine Schoffstall Akers. Jerry was a fireman in Winter Haven, Florida. He served his country in the US Army.

Survivors include wife, Beverley Bradshaw Akers of the home, daughters, Mindy Akers (Mike Hedl) of Surf City, Jennifer Smart (John) of Boiling Springs, sister, Shirley Mansch of Chicago, Illinois, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

The family will have a private service to celebrate his life.
