Jerry McEntyre, 74

Jerry McEntyre, 74, of Dallas, passed away August 28, 2021.

He was born September 12, 1946, in Blairsville, GA, son of the late Commodore and Bertha McEntyre.

He was preceded in death by son, Benny McEntyre; daughter, Teresa Melton; grandson, Shadoe Degunion; and siblings, Leona Reece, Betty Davis, Gearleen McEntyre, D.C. McEntyre, Monroe McEntyre, C.F. McEntyre, Arzella McEntyre, Donavee McEntyre, and Herman McEntyre.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Nancy McEntyre who passed 6 days after her beloved husband; sons, Jerry McEntyre and Jessie Palmer; daughters, Rhonda Degunion, Sandy Snead and husband Chris, Michelle McEntyre, Racheal McEntyre and significant other Wayne Spears; Allison Sanders and husband Aaron, Oletia Conner and husband Tony; brothers, Weldon Reece, Ed Brown, Joe Brown and wife Hazel, J.B. McEntyre and wife Marie; 21 grandkids; and lots of great grandkids.

A gathering of friends and family was held September 11, 2021, at West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
