Jesse Boyd McEntire, 86

Jesse Boyd McEntire, 86, of Rutherfordton, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Lee and Rosa Lee Hardin McEntire. Jesse served eight years in the National Guard.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Jerleen Arrowood McEntire; daughters, Renita Atchley (Dean), Alesia Ramsey (Monroe), Denise White (Roger); son, Terry McEntire; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Leonard McEntire and Ruben McEntire, and sister, Annie Arrowood.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond McEntire and sister, Ronelle Tuttle.

Funeral services were held at Piney Knob Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
