Jettie "Rose" Conner, age 89, of Bostic

Jettie "Rose" Conner, age 89, of Bostic, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Rose was born September 16, 1936 in Polk County, to the late Thomas Elmer Goode and Johnnie Hays Goode. She worked as a caretaker for many years and had a heart to help others. As an active member of Second Baptist Church, she lived out her Christian faith by being involved in several church ministries.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Robert Conner; daughter, Kathy Goode; son, Ronnie Goode and by six sisters.

Those left to honor her legacy include her son, Alan Goode of Bostic; sisters, Sarah McCall (Harvey) of Simpsonville, SC, Judy Patrick of Mauldin, SC and Pat Tessenear of Greenville, SC; granddaughters, Kathy McIntyre (Dan) of Ellenboro, Nikki Morrow (Jason) of Forest City, Brandy Dedmon of Shelby, Shanna Goode of Mooresboro and eight great grandchildren.

The funeral was held July 7 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating.
