Jim Harris, age 83

Jim Harris, age 83, of Shelby, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020.

Jim was born December 18, 1936 in Rutherford County to the late John Clifford Harris and Viola Enloe Harris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brian Clifford Harris; two brothers, Richard and Bobby Harris and sisters, Doris Doggett and Geraldine Kurtz.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of fifty-three years, Brenda Mask Harris; brother-in-law, John Kurtz of Bostic and three grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, a grandniece, grandnephew.

A private gathering to celebrate Jim's life was held at Harrelson Funeral Home.
