Jimmy Hawkins, age 77

Jimmy Hawkins, age 77, of Caroleen, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020.

Jimmy was born March 6, 1942 in Rutherford County to the late Paul T. Hawkins and Madeyline "Matt" Scruggs Hawkins

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of forty-six years, Agnes Hawkins and sister, Jo Ann Hollifield.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Nigel Hawkins (Melissa) and Lonnie Hawkins (Dena) all of Caroleen; brother, Tim Hawkins of Caroleen; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with military honors being accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
