Jimmy N. Guffey, age 85

Jimmy N. Guffey, age 85, of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021.

He was the son of the late Clyde Guffey and the late Annabelle Ruff Guffey and a native of Rutherford County. He was a US Army veteran. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Opal Lee Jones Guffey. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Joan Walker and Patricia Pierson.

He is survived by his Two Daughters: Linda Wall (Bryan), Deborah King (Randy). One Son: Steve Guffey (Sharon). Two brothers: Calvin Guffey (Anne), Roger Guffey (Suzy), One sister Mary Lois Geer (David), two grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

The Funeral service was held at Second Baptist of Rutherfordton. Interment held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
