Joan Carol Dowdle, 71

Joan Carol Dowdle, 71, of Union Mills, died November 2, 2021.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Earl Clarence Arrowood and Florree Ola Arrowood. Joan was a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memories is husband Johnny Dowdle of Union Mills; sisters, Karen Gibbs of Union Mills and Earleen (Joel) Aderhold of Loganville, GA; children Deborah Dowdle of Rutherfordton, Sherry (Gary) Clubb of Rutherfordton, Tammy (Houston) Boggs of Union Mills and Johnny Dowdle of Rutherfordton; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; aunts Cheryl Roper of Rutherfordton and Ruby Holland of Kinston.
