Jody Dalton, age 51

Jody Dalton, age 51, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019.

Jody was born August 4, 1968 in Rutherford County. He worked as a truck driver for various companies most of his life and most recently drove a rollback truck for I-Auto Repair. Jody attended Golden Valley Missionary Methodist Church. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his sons and enjoyed any kind of outdoor activity.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Effie and Oscar Alley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Angie Dalton; two sons, Josh Dalton (Teri) of Forest City and Zach Dalton of the home; his father, Tommy Dalton (Marie) of Ellenboro; a grandson; mother-in-law, Susie Arrowood of Caroleen and brother-in-law, Junior Arrowood of Cliffside.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
